How can we keep our rooms looking tidy and who should do the various chores?

We all should tidy the tables, put boards on the table by the office for the director to check that they are all there. You can help by sorting them and it makes it easier on the director.

Pads should be put back on the chargers and table numbers put into the office

We should all put the chairs neatly around the table and used bidding pads in the paper bin.

Cups go into the dishwasher and help tidy the kitchen.

Remember the director has lots of things to do at the end of play so the more we can do the better and it is not the director’s job to clear up. They are there to finalise after play so their department is all ready for the next director.

We are a team!!!

Table etiquette and rules

Please keep the noise down after you have finished your boards and others are still playing. Yesterday, Monday, it was so noisy it was hard to concentrate particularly when you have had to play a board under pressure because it was a tricky lot of cards and you are behind time. Let’s be considerate. Lastly, on this etiquette bit, please do not discuss the boards especially when the next table is going to play them.
